Eyes O Beautiful Eyes..

Have you ever looked into your own eyes the moment you woke up? Nah? Try it and you will realise how beautiful your eyes are.

Every morning, the moment I wake up I go to the mirror and look at my eyes (only my eyes not my face ;-P).. You have to be near to the mirror that your eyes can see only your eyes. And trust me, they will look so much at peace that it keeps me wondering if even Osama Bin Laden has so much peace in his eyes every morning. You will find a wet layer on your eyes. A layer which has protected your eyes through out the night. You can see that the 'part' which helps you see is beautiful... A famous proverb says, 'Face is the index of mind'. I add to it 'Eyes are the index of face' :-)

Worries...

Each day of our life has atleast one pinch of 'worry' sandwiched with other events. Through out the day, a secret corner of our heart keeps thinking about the 'worry'. Cant help it; that's the way life functions and we are a puppet in the hands of life. Probably that's y 'they' say, Smile amidst your worries :-).

Being Happy...

Seems it is long since I wrote any quotes. Something struck me today, which resulted in the below :-)

Being happy doesn’t always mean you are happy for yourself; it can also mean that you are happy for someone.

Dirty Keyboard

Well, I have taken it as an assignment and am trying out all possible tests on this site. It's fun!
The current results says,
"There are about 2,247,000 germs on your keyboard right now!
That's equivalent to the number of germs on 449 toilet seats."

Just-pass in blogs

I checked my blogging addiction on this site. I should reveal that I am not addicted to blogging; but am addicted to other well written blogs!!! My marks do reveal that :-).

Hurt...

When people tend to hurt you, follow these steps.
1. Look at them (i.e., perfect eye contact)
2. Smile and think 'oh buddy! you are loosing a friend for others'
3. Ignore them and move on with life.

Because ppl who love you wont hurt you, and ppl who hurt dont love you much.

Trip to Kerala

Last weekend, we had been to our native - Kerala, India. It was a real trip! We visited my relatives, had loads of food, visited temples, went trekking.. that's isn't all!

I must comment on the water there. I took bath almost three times a day and the water would be really cold that you would freeze. Once you are out of the bathroom, you feel full of energy in you. And when am here, my mom has to push me to take bath! lol.

I couldn’t resist clicking snaps during the trip. The place is so beautiful that you long to capture every moment. I have taken loads of beautiful pics, couple of which I would be posting here.

Normally, when I leave chennai I would be really upset cause this is the place I was brought-up and this is the place where all my friend live. So there is a strong bonding btw this place and me. But when I return from kerala I would again be upset cause I will not want to leave a beautiful place with beautiful ppl so soon.
Right now, am waiting for the next travel which is due in september :-).

My end note says 'Kerala - God's own Country'.

Oh My Sweet Little Niece...

How mean of me! Just one post about my niece!

Yest, my niece responded to me for the first time. I was really thrilled. I was holding her in my hand (she is just a month old) and speaking to her. She was smiling and giving me all sweet expressions and sounds.

Then after playing and talking for a while i handed her to my sis and was walkign out of the room. Man! She started calling me 'aaah ooo'. Gosh felt soooo gooood. When I went near her again she started smiling..

My Mom and sis were commenting 'she knows that if she is good to you, you will give her your lipsticks, eyeliner and other cosmetics. That's y she is talking to u like this heheh'. Already my doggies ate one of my new lipstick. And Gods knows what my niece will be upto!

Love..

Love..

Love doesn't die, hatred does!

Possessiveness..

Only mine..

Possessiveness is the first enemy when you are in love. Ofcourse it is the indication too.

Trust..

From my heart...

Never trust ones who hide their actions from you. Trust the one who hide their actions to keep you happy. Have met many who fall into the former category n a handful who fall in the latter.

Real Happiness...

One of MY fav writing.

Real happiness is when people understand your stands without you explaining the same.

One more..

You are alone in ur life..
Nobody will accompany you for anything.. yes ANYTHING!

Dreams Unlimited

From the entrance, I saw our fish tank in our hall. I gazed at the lovely golden-fish in the tank. These fishes, which normally are very brisk, seemed to be still. I walked towards the tank screaming at my mom. The fishes were dead. Tears popped up in my eyes. I had got so much of relief seeing these little ones. And when I saw them dead, it was painful!

Somebody had done it. Yes! Somebody had killed them! They had frozen the fish tank. The killer had placed a big ice bar above and below the fish tank, which caused the water in the tank to freeze. And these little ones died. I looked at my mom and gave her a questioning look. Who did this? She dint have an answer. She was stunned too.

At this moment, I heard a dog's cry. It was our neighbor’s dog, which was at our house. My mom and I ran to see what was happening to the dog. Gosh! Somebody had put a big plastic bag on the dog. And the doggie was trying to break free. We freed the doggie. Man! What the helll! Who the hell is doing all this! The person was targeting every living thing! A Serial killer!!! A serial killer had sneaked into our house, frizzed our fish, and tried to suffocate our doggie!

My mom was pacifying the dog. I suddendly remembered that I had left the main door of our house open. Heck! I rushed to close the door. When i was about to reach the hall, I heard a faint sound from one of our bedroom. I tiptoed towards our bedroom. My God!! A guy was sitting on the floor and doing something on somebody.. I bent forward to find out what he was doing.. and in my house! He had a small matchstick like equipment in his hand. One end of the matchstick had two pointed attachments. He was pricking the man lying on the floor with this stick. Gosh! He was trying to kill him! I shouted 'Ayeeee'. He looked up. He was my gud friend and colleague!!! The moment I saw his face I was about to faint. He got up, rushed toward me, pushed me and ran off towards the main door!!!

Next, I saw the same guy targeting kids! Kidnapping them.. I saw him move towards a kid.. And the kid was none other than my cousin :-(. I saw him move towards my cousin. Before i could shout and warn my cousin, I woke up!

Yes, I woke up. This was the terrible dream I had yest. And after coming to office, each time I saw my friend (remember, I told you that the killer was none other than my friend and colleague) I imagined himself as a serial killer. And to add on, he gave me a 'devilish' laugh when I told him about the dream.

My colleagues are worried. They are worried that i will have such dreams about them too! But readers, was that not an imaginative dream?

Silence...

Silence.. This is the most powerful emotion.. I go silent at every other happening. And the silence in me hangs about if the happening hurts me like hell! Lot of people have told me that I am a 'silent killer' cause I don’t let go my emotions.. Only way I let go my emotion is by 'staying quite'.

I was just thinking about the moments I become silentand go into my own world.. have listed few moments when I become silent and what I luv to do ;-)

`` When traveling to some city and I need to part my parents, I go into my own world after I bid them good-bye. The moment I step out of our house, I start to think of how my parents brought me up and everything on those lines!

`` When my mom scolds me for what-so-ever reason!

`` When I find people around me speaking nonsense and feel there are better things to do!

`` When I find the topic under discussion very interesting I go into my own world thinking about my views about the topic.

`` When traveling by bus, I just go silent and love to listen and watch ppl around me. This is not eavesdropping! Its fun!

`` When I feel that the silence will give ‘more’ clear answers to the person am with.

`` When am in philosophical mood.

`` When I see or hear something which I never wanted to know about!

`` When traveling on road, I just watch the diversion on roads and keep looking at different vehicle numbers!

`` When traveling by rail I shut my co-passenger, I watch the far end of the train turn! Fun!

`` When my neighbors, complain about our co-neighbors!

`` When I am just out of my bed, those moments - when I just lie with my eyes open – I just luv them and the silence in my mind!

`` The moments just before sleep - when I stay awake for what-so-ever reason and think what ever comes to my mind!

`` When I am really happy or sad – cause to control my tears I need to be silent!

`` When I ppl hold me responsible for all rotten things I have never done!

`` When I know that if I open my mouth I will hurt the person I love the most.

To sum up, at least 5 min for each day I am silent. I listen to my mind and soul.. Listen to their complaints… I love to be silent. And mind you, that doesn’t mean that am an introvert.

This is no tagging.. Nobody has tagged me to write this. If you tend to become silent on any incidents - share!

Babies Babies Babies... This is the only talk around me for past one month! That's cause my sissy delivered a beautiful baby gal last Friday - 6th July!

It's gonna be one of the most unforgettable days of our life. That’s the first time I saw a lady drive in for labour; and that’s the first time I picked up a few hours old new born! I was really scared to hold the newborn, but now handle her with ease!!!

From the time of her birth we have been having lots of people visiting us to see the new mom and our bundle of joy.

I always used to thing of a solid reason on - why a baby sleeps during the day and is awake most of the night - We call it US timing - I never got any reason to this.

This weekend we had a visitor – a Pediatrician. During our conversion he was giving us few medical gyan (not about operations but about child psychology). When I asked him about US timing which new born adopt, he gave me a beautiful explanation.

When the baby is in mom's womb for 9 months, the baby sleeps during the day and wakes during nights. This is cause during the day when mommy walks, babies feels the moment as a swing and falls asleep. Later during the night when mommy sleeps during nights, baby finds it silent and stays awake. After the babies birth, this practice of the baby (sleep during day) continues and it would take about 2 months for the baby to change the habit.

Now that’s y we find most of the little one’s sleeping during the day! This was really a new to me!

Sivaji - The Boss!

Sivaji Sivaji Sivaji! This is the only topic u get to hear anywhere and everywhere! Well, am yet to watch the movie. Currently, am reading good reviews about the movie and ppl are in all praise for the star - His style, his dialogues, his screen presence!

Well, sometimes I just feel y to waste so much of hard earned money from our pocket just for a movie? If people ask me if I want a ticket for 1500, my mind would immediately start calculating the things I can do with 1500. Let go the money, it is truely understandable that if u are a die-hard fan of an actor - and if it is the super star - u just cant resist spending money to c the star rocking onscreen. But I truely detest the 'paal abishegam' for the posters of stars. I feel that all this is really absurd. He/She is not a God to be worshipped. If u like a person or if u admire a person - praise his, spread his positive, do good deeds in his name. This is not the first time we c rituals like 'paal abishegam' done to an actors poster. I feel that if an actor gets to know about such happenings he should truely not encourage the same. If a fellow indian goes about spending money on movie, milk and time for the actor - am sure he will pay heed to the few educative lines from his star.

It is not in our hands to stop all this. Actors have to educate our 'so called' friends to be more sensible. We can enjoy, we can scream, we can watch the movie, but not perform insensible acts like pouring milk over the actors poster.

We think we are not economically strong and a part of our countries population lacks food. The reason? Partially, only because of US - (not U-S, us ;-)).

Well, that was on a serious note. For now, I am looking forward to watch the movie. We got to know that tickets were avaliable at a theatre and we managed to book ticketsi. I like rajini and his style. So am keen to know about his new style in the movie. Also till date, it so happened that have not seen any trailor, song or scene from the movie. So will be going into the theatre without any clue. :-)

Bottle of Peace Please

Sometimes blogging is such a stress-buster. Offlate am too busy that I hardly get time to think – this is no exaggeration. I did not have the time n patience to think about a topic for my blog! So I just thought to write that I dint know what to write. Now that’s confusing. Isn’t it? So I will be back with a proper post very soon, my dear soul! Until then plz bear with this one! lol. yaenakae thaeriyum idhu konajm over nu. lol

When i dont get time to think, i tend to slow down in my activities and will not b at peace. I will return to normal only when all my work is done. I guess that's the case with ever soul. So right now am trying to figure out how to get all the work done so that i can b the normal me! I normally do this by writting down all the pending works and prioritizing the same. Most of the times this doesnt work out cause each work which i have to complete would be connected to someother individual too. So i need to c to it that he/she is available too!

Any other suggestions to handle such situations?

Now Now this is not only about the official work; it is about the personal life too.

Topic to blog!

When a frequent n respectable blogger quits blogging for a short period of time, his/her readers go mad. But i dont have such tensions! LOL. The only soul which goes mad is my soul. And my soul was crying n asking me to atleast check my own blog. From the last time I blogged, there has been lot of changes in my life. And each time an unforgetable incident occurs, I promise (myself) to write a blog about the same. Well, my blog reveals if I have stood to my promise :-(.

When I list down the topics I had planned to blog on, i was suprized. Not cause of the topic! but cause of the number. Here goes the list.

  • Cover-Up Act
  • Cooking
  • College goers!
  • Farewell
  • Games
  • Gifts
  • If I cud help.. (dog)
  • Love struck
  • Milk boiling cermony
  • My darling doggie (planning to create a separate blog for this LOL)
  • This day last year...
  • Valentines day
  • Womens day
The list doesnot end here. I have restricted it! First let me complete the list, then I will add on. That will happen after two yrs for sure ;-) LOL.

Right now I am damm sleepy and tired. Reason for this state of mine is in the list above! Until the next time I post, keep guessing the cause! Until then buh bye.. Rock!

Games??? Am In!

I had listed to write on 'Games' in one of my last posts.. so here is my promise..
How many of us likes to play games?? all??

Well, avoiding the normal chatter let me get to the happening. It was a normal day at office. Ppl were busy acting as though they were working ;-). I had to leave for home early cause I had to attend some party which I was least interested in! I was ordered to get back home by 5.30 sharp. So being a v good gal I planned to close work at 4 so that I would reach home v early.

It so happened that there were some programmes organized in our office campus by a famous radio channel. When we got the news I was least interested cause I had to somehow get out of office on time. The tarzan of our cubicle (we were 4 gals in the cubile) was v interested these games. And the three of us shooed her away hehe.

When I was done for the day I shut down my comp and bit bye-bye to my teammies. Tarzan and our third friend wanted a break and decided to accompany me to ground floor. When we reached the gnd floor we found a crowd gathered. Out of curiosity, we moved to see what was happening. Oh man! there were these cute games organized. bow n arrow, throwing a ring over things, and shooting arrows to the center of a board (dont blame me I dont knwo the exact name of this game!.

Tarzan and I were tempted to play these games! It was already 4.30 but I dint care. The other friend who had accompanied us warned us not to play cause it was just for kids heheh. Who cared!!! it was fun. And the best part was I won in the last shot!! And there was a victorious clap and I was directed to a ground to get the prize!! I walked with pride; -). Paavam Tarzan was the one who wanted to win the game hehe. She looked like a soldier who had lost battle heheh. So coming back to the story I went to collect the prize. And can u guess the prize? Sob Sob. It was a pen. Waaahhhh. I turned to look at my beautiful two colleagues who were giggling from behind. And the distributor who was giving away the prizes felt really bad after cing Tarzans face that he offered tarzan a pen too! How generous!

By then, our guruji (fourth one in the cubicle) came down for a break. And when she saw me she was stunned caused it was already 5.15 heheh. And when we showed her the prize we won, she gave us an 'yirk' look.

Well, it was too late for me to take a bus back home. So had to melt 200 bucks from my pocket for a cab! Rs 200 lost and a pen in hand! But did i play for the prize?? Nah!

Oh my saar!!!

Since yesterday there is something technically wrong with me. And the *raja* of this complication is my head ache. Now, I was thinking about the things I detest when I have a headache. Here goes the list.

  • I hate combing my hair. Instead, a head massage is the one I would appreciate. :-)
  • Reading books – this aggravates my headache.
  • Any interesting talks around me will sound stupid. I hate this man! Silence please…
  • I hate to hear the telephone ringing when I have a headache… even if it is in the next house! For that matter I hate answering the calls too!!! And today there is a ‘Mahan’ sitting in our next cabin and he is on speaker phone since morning. Crap!
  • I hate to eat. It hurts when I chew. :-(
  • Switch off the television/radio plz.

I cant think of anymore though there are lots…

All the things I like when I have a headache is – nice shoulders to lie on (this gives a feeling that somebody is around). Now the tragic part is that I have the shoulders where I shd lie on but I don’t have it near me right now *sob* *sob*. Then, I require absolute silence around me. Like the one I have now. Nobody in office except the one sitting just behind me. Thank God there is nobody around to make her giggle.. Else her giggles will multiply my headache!!

Time for my cab… Ciaoooo..

Hungry Kya

Today we are going out for team lunch. And waiting is such a pain! I was hungry thinking about lunch just after finishing my breakfast this morning. Now, even if we leave at 1.15 for lunch. By the time we get to the place and take out seats it would be 1.40. And by the time we scan the menu and order it would eat up another 15 min. Then, the time take to deliver our orders will take another 15 min. So by the time I start eating it would be 2.15. Aaaaaaaaah. To reduce the delivery time we have already planned what to order. So that would reduce the waiting time by 15 min. hmmm I should tell you that’s a relief!

Well, all said.. nothing is like mom’s food. Yummy.. Even if it is just the curd rice and those fried potatoes.. yummy…

Ok it’s 1.15.. Am off.. I am starving..
