Our First Letter to Our Jaan :-)

Are you a boy or girl?
You have kept us guessing so long.
We don’t wish to give up.
We are waiting for you,
Waiting for the moment when you will arrive to fill our hearts and hands.
Waiting to hear your first cry.
Waiting for your first touch.
Waiting for your first look.
Waiting for everything related to you.

When I felt you move, I used to get startled.
Now I enjoy you movement.
When I felt pain, I used to worry if you are OK.
Now I know you are definitely doing good.
When I see a baby, I wonder how you will look.
When I see you in scans, I wonder what you are thinking.
I wonder what you are doing.
I wonder if you are comfortable.
I prayer that you should be.

As we wait for you, we are thinking about your arrival.
Thinking about the moment when we will see and hold you.
Thinking about a special name for you.
We are waiting for you.. Our Jaan.

Crispy and her names :D

The princess of our house, Crispy (well, my niece is definitely in for a competition) is well-know for her naughtiness, affection, love, possesiveness (to moi), looks (I mean the way she looks at others) and ofcourse her name!!

Crispy, over the years, has lot of names to her credit. She was named 'crispy' cause the day she landed at our place she ate lot of dosas.. that too only crispy one's :D. Apart from crispy, I call her chakara, muttu, sundari, lutapy, cookooo, dungi, button kanni (her eyes are so cute), cat walkie (haha u shd look at the way the lady walks), thirutu muzhi kari (some times she has those i-dint-do-that kindoff looks), thakudu, sukudu.. list goes on and on. And, there are some names which came into existance when my niece was just learning to pronounce crispy. They are fisssss, fisssy, and rispy. Now she has got it right... well almost.

I just love my doggie... and my niece too (just-in-case my niece reads this blog.. after few years!!) :-P
